i borrowed some cds from the library
on
how
to
speak
czech.
as if spanish is not difficult enough to learn.
czech is very stingy with vowels.
so far i can say (i wrote the czech phrases phonetically, so don't complain, okay? i'm no spelling bee champien)
dobri den = hello/good day
prominte = excuse me
dyekuyi = thank you
nerozumim cheski = i don't understand czech
ne vim = i don't know.
ye sem filipinka = i am filipina
tee- hee. of course i know a couple of other czech words that slim tells me i am not allowed to say in front of other people.
for now...
on with the czech lessons
noo-ni-noo-ni-noo
