fins and some red feather

went to the national aquarium in baltimore yesterday. never seen as many fish in my life. i was a bit sacred going there, thinking the glass tanks might break and orca might come and get me. but it was all good. i saw some really weird-looking fish. loved the purple and gray surgeon fish.

the aquarium had a great collection of wickedly colored frogs. it made me want to kind of be a designer for sneakers after looking at the frogs' natural coloring. it would be so awesome to have multi-colored pet frogs at home. probably get evicted for noise damage though.

my favorite animal in this trip has got to be the scarlet ibis. my friend s would probably love this. but take a look, it's really quite a sight



visited a very grand looking barnes and noble in the inner harbor. it was housed on a former powerplant, i think. pretty neat.

went around downtown baltimore for a drive. too bad edgar allan poe's grave was closed for rennovations. it would have been cool to have a pic my e.a, poe action figure standing morosely on his actual grave, but oh well.

it was hard to eat anything with fish after that trip to the aquarium. had dinner Fin's hawaiin fusion reastaurant. great food. i ate a chicken and crab wrap (snap! i just ate a sea creature, oh no!) no shashimi for me. sigh. how i can i eat fish now? i guess i better not go to a farm or ranch anytime soon.
